ICAAP framework, expectations, impact and lessons learned

The May edition of Business Review reported on the PRiM conference "ICAAP and CSSF Circular 07/301: the framework, the expectations and the impact and lessons learned". Martin Clark of avantage Capita was one of the presenters and outlined the progress in implementation of ICAAP process and practical advice to Luxembourg banks.

 

On 7 April 2008, avantage Capita presented its experience on the ICAAP to a group of Luxembourg-based banks. Organised by PRIM Luxembourg, the event focussed on CSSF Circular 07/301 regarding the ICAAP.

The subject was introduced by Martin Flaunet, Partner, Deloitte, and Martin Clark, Director, avantage Capita Limited.  They shared the key highlights of the new framework and its impacts on banks in Luxembourg and shared experiences from projects currently under way in a number of European jurisdictions. They then moderated a panel of Luxembourg Bankers and the CSSF who shared their experience with the audience.

The agenda was follows:
