Nigel Walker, Head of our Liquidity Risk Practice was one of the speakers at the BBA's seminar Liquidity Systems and Controls.
Nigel's presentation focused on providing practical advice for implementing the Systems and Controls Regulations contained within the FSA's new liquidity risk regime (FSA Policy Statement 09/16) including a review of the requirements for governing body and senior management oversight; proportionality in regards to the nature, scale and complexity of activities; stress testing under the new regime and contingency funding plans.
