avantage ICAAP 5th Presentation to Working Group of German Banks
On 20 November 2008, avantage Capita hosted the fifth meeting of the Working Group of German Banks based in Luxembourg which is a platform to exchange information among practitioners regarding the preparation of the ICAAP.
14 banks attended the fifth session, which included a regulatory update; and discussion of Pillar II methodologies and key issues in in stress testing and liquidity concentration by Frederic Gielen, Director, avantage Capita Limited. Mr Thomas Klein, Leiter Risk Management & Compliance, Hauck&Aufhäuser Banquiers then made an informative presentation on the issues of implementing an ICAAP in a private banking firm. The session concluded with a question and answer session facilitated by Mr. Klein.
