avantage Reply was invited to speak at the Risk Capital 2009 Conference "Risk Management & Capital in the New World Order". Martin Clark, Partner, delivered a presentation on Implementing Basel 2 Revision Efficiently Across the Whole Organisation. Gerald Ancia chaired the Stream on Designing & Maintaining An Efficient Capital Management Framework For Turbulent Times.
avantage Reply shared its experience gained across leading international banking groups and smaller banking institutions with well over 250 risk professionals who attended the conference. Martin's remarks and comment covered the unprecedented raft of regulatory reforms which is on its way. He shared practical insight as to how banks focus on weathering the downturn and rebuilding capital and, at the same time, organise and resource their response to regulatory change in order to avoid inefficient and wasteful implementation of regulatory reforms.
