avantage Capita Presents at British Bankers' Association Operational Risk Seminar
On 11 February 2009, avantage Capita made a presentation at the British Bankers' Association (BBA) Operational Risk Seminar held at Pinners Hall in the City of London to an audience of Operational Risk professionals and regulators.
The Seminar comprised of nine speakers from the Financial Services Industry, Management Consultancy and Regulators discussing over the course of the day a wide range of subjects relevant to Operational Risk in financial services today.
The first presentation was given by Euan Ramsay, avantage Capita entitled "A Global Outlook for Operational Risk". Euan provided opinions on what a successful ORM should look like followed by insights to the tangible benefits for operational risk management and further discussed how the industry can positioning itself to achieve these benefits.
The event concluded with a question and answer session involving speakers, facilitated by Irving, Henry, Director BBA.
