The session will focus on a number of practical challenges that are likely to be encountered when considering operational risk appetite development. These include: balancing the various demands of the stakeholders involved; assessing the potential approaches to articulating operational risk appetite; and the ways in which senior management and Board members can derive practical benefits from it.

This event is an opportunity to share experience around what has worked (and what has not) in your organisation. Our guest speaker at the event is Fred Bell, Head of Operational Risk, RBS Wealth Management, who will be sharing some of his experiences of developing Operational Risk Appetite at RBS plc.
