Join Lombard Risk for this breakfast workshop for banks to learn more about the impact of the liquidity regulations. The expert presenters will discuss local, whole-firm, firm-wide and group-wide management of liquidity related to the FSA liquidity reporting regime.

Presentations will review modifications, stress testing and reporting; explain the options available and requirements you need to meet to be granted a modification; cover the action points whether you are granted a modification or not; and review stress testing that will apply to your firm.

Come talk with your peers, digest and review the information presented by our experts, and gain valuable knowledge to help solve your liquidity reporting challenges.

Programme:

Registration from 08:00 AM with coffee/tea and a full breakfast selection.

Opening Remarks:
Tim Buenker, Policy Advisor, British Bankers Association

Featured Presentation:
Nigel Walker, Head of Liquidity Risk Practice, avantage (UK) Limited

  • Modifications: Solo, Default or UK DLG, which way to go? Stay self-sufficient, or go whole firm? If whole firm, what will you need to prepare for the FSA?

Round Table Discussion:

Modification or not, what actions to be done by when? What if you don't get the modification?

Featured Presentation:
Dr. Lee Wakeman, Chief Risk Officer, Lombard Risk

  • A close up look at stress testing: Is your checklist complete? Indeed, can you use a checklist? If head office is doing the stress testing, will that be good enough for you?

Tick list approach to stress testing - this isn't viable, is it? Is your Parent on the case? Will they expect you in the UK to do whole-firm reporting on their behalf?

Wrap up Q&A:
James Phillips, Director, Lombard Risk Compliance
